Care for your Swimwear
Swimming Goggles:
- Once Inside the pool always wet your goggles and shake them to dry before wearing. This prevents fogging of lenses.
- Never wipe your goggles with a cloth to avoid damaging anti-fog coating.
- Chlorine damages silicon causing goggles to lose its sealing capacity.
- Regular swimmers would need to change their goggles every four to six months.
- After swimming dip your goggles in plain water and leave it to dry.
Swimming Cap:
- Remove any clips/ pins from your hair as sharp metal edges can puncture your cap.
- Wear your cap carefully by pushing your hands inside the cap stretching it open, and gradually slipping it down the head.
- Make sure that you do not have long sharp nails.
- Wash your cap with plain water after every use.
- Use talcum powder to keep your cap safe and dry during storage.
Swimming Costumes:
- Never wash your costumes in a washing machine, with hot water.
- Always hand-wash your swimming costume in tap water for a longer life.
- Rinse your swimming suit in tap water to remove chemicals , salt, sand or body oil to avoid damage to the fabric.
- Do not sit on any rough surface to prevent damage to fabric.
